O Prémio Hugo é entregue anualmente para os melhores trabalhos de fantasia ou ficção científica em língua inglesa do ano anterior. A premiação aconteceu na noite do último domingo (19/08), durante a 76ª Convenção Mundial de Ficção Científica.

Melhor Romance
The Stone Sky (O Céu de Pedra), de N.K. Jemisin
Jemisin foi a vencedora do prêmio de melhor romance em 2016 e 2017 com os livros anteriores da série, “A Quinta Estação” (editora Morro Branco) e “The Obelisk Gate” (O Portão do Obelisco), que será lançado no Brasil em Outubro, também pela Morro Branco. Já “The Stone Sky” deve ser publicado no país em 2019, segundo a editora.
Além disso, uma série de TV está sendo pelo canal TNT. A data de lançamento ainda não foi divulgada.
